Are lupus and Narcolepsy linked?

Hello, I'm new to this way of seeking help from others. I've been diagnosed with Narcolepsy. I had some unexplained antibodies in my blood. I went to an infectious disease doctor and was able to rule out infectious diseases. He seen that I had high Igg levels and sent me to a rheumatologist. At this point I had been through so many tests and so unsure of my future. Relieved I didn't have an infectious disease I went to the next doctor. They said that they were unsure what was going on. Apparently I didn't have all the symptoms for a true diagnosis of lupus. I was in the process of moving from Ohio to Florida and was going to pick up where I left off in Florida. The Ohio doctor told me to keep an eye on over all situation. If I have a miscarriage, I most likely have lupus. Well, that has always been in the back of my head. I'm on unemployment and don't have health insurance to go to a rheumatologist. I know that with lupus there are rashes. I've never had rashes, but strange allergic reactions/allergies. Over the last months or so I have this strange hand rash? I'm not sure if you want to call it a rash.

I guess what I'm trying to get at....is there a link between Lupus and Narcolepsy? I wouldn't think Lupus if the doctor didn't mention it.

This "rash" doesn't really itch, hurt, no puss, and I have 2 new little bumps that just came up. I think it's stress related.

Any guidance is appreciated!!

Thank you!!

Ingredients:
1/2 stick butter or margarine
3/4 cup flour
1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk (I use it instead of heavy cream or half and half)
7 cups milk (I use 2%)
1 tablespoon garlic powder
2 vegetarian vegetable bouillon cubes
1/8 teaspoon parsley (fresh and finely chopped is best)
dash of paprika
peeled potatoes, diced into small chunks (about 3 cups)- I've used baking potatoes, red potatoes and golden potatoes- all delicious!
1 medium yellow onion, finely diced (equals about 3/4 to 1 cup)

Directions:
In a large saucepan on medium low heat, heat the butter, 1 cup milk, and evaporated milk. When the butter is completely melted into the milk, slowly add the flour by 1/4 cup at a time, whisking the mixture constantly to avoid any clumps of flour. By the time all of the flour has been added, you should have a thick soup base.

Slowly add another 2 cups of milk, whisking the mixture the whole time. Then add the paprika, parsley, garlic powder and finely diced onion. Switch to a wooden or plastic spoon and mix all together. Add the potatoes and mix again.

Add 1 cup of milk every 15 minutes from this point on, stirring slowly (4 additional cups of milk total per 15 minutes). When all of the milk has been added, add the vegetarian vegetable bouillon cubes. They will melt their way into the soup.

The final step is easy. Let the soup sit on the stove for a couple of hours on low, stirring occasionally. The longer you let the soup cook, the thicker it gets.

*If you don't have all day for the soup to sit on low, pre-boil the potatoes before you add them and turn the stove top temperature up. If you turn the temperature up on the stove, however, you should keep a close eye on the soup and stir on a consistent and frequent basis.

*Awesome topping ideas: dollop of sour cream, cheddar cheese, bacon

I was recently visiting a couple who had a disagreement on the matter. The husband felt that you should use a towel for a week. The wife thought that rather disgusting and felt that a new towel for each bath/shower is called for.

Personally, I use a new towel each time. On the other hand, my SO uses a new towel whenever I replace hers (I am the one who usually does the laundry).
