[attachment=100]My poor Mandy ended up getting worms from fleas she picked up while we were walking in the woods. Before I knew that she even had a flea, they started to multiply, and she bit and scratched, consuming the fleas. I noticed worms in her bowel movements and picked up a treatment of "Sergeant's Vetscription Worm-Away" for dogs at the Dollar General. The package contains 12 powdered capsules of medication and bases the amount of medication on the weight of the dog. I followed instructions, opening 5 capsules of medication and sprinkled it on a little bit of her food (well, I used peanut butter to make sure it was gobbled up by her). The package says to repeat the recommended dosage in 10 days. Mandy took the medication 8 days ago, and she has been 100% worm free for 2 days now. I will give her the second dosage in 2 days, but she is worm free and I only had to spend $3.00!
